Is there anybody who already worked with this thing in combination with Discreet, and could tell us more about the pro and cons of this system?
Thanks!we just had the guys from maximum throughput bring the HD!0 slegehammer to our facility. i found it to be a great system and am recommmending it for ’05 budget. the Xstoner software is a huge plus.
this will allow you to push files from any system across the network into your discreet system….directly to the library of your choice…..all in the backgound…..and you don’t even have to be on the discreet box…..same with exporting files from your discreet box. there is an HTML feature that will allow you to push or pull any media files to or from any system… discreet, mac, PC from any other system (because you are literally opening up a browser ie:internet explorer…..and initiating transfer via a browser.
this is much more than simply storage….it is a great media management system. i highly recommend seeing if you can get a demo.
