I been trying to figure out this plug in for awhile, first on Fusion, but support told me that , smart-plate was “broken” in Fusion, and would be fixed at a later time. So any who… I now trying it on Nuke ver 5, I’m using the tutorial from the Foundry.
I have loader – smart-plate – reformat -saver
I have set all setting per the tutorial glide, Im a little unsure about the placement of the box widget, when I looked at the
DVD that showed it being run on a Flame, didn’t help me too much. They showed the image being “placed” on the left side
of the frame, and it built out, left to right ( it was a street pan) The only place i seem to be-able to adjust the box widget is in the file reader.Does the box widget, need to be “fitting” around the footage?
When I view the reformat, the pic is in the very center of the outline of the new size 1000 x 1500 I believe . and when I click analyse
I see the outline growing, but no frames are being “painted “when do I attach the saver? If it’s a 50 frame footage that is being read-in, how many frames to I save out, from the render?
Any help would be greatly accepted .
thanks ollie slats!
