    Hi Guys,

    So here’s my problem:

I pretty much ise IBL keyer in Nuke (together with other keyers to get the best alpha). Recently I had some noisy footage. I blured slightly green and blue channels. Applied little bit of DeNoise and it did help in getting a good key. I also got a nice core matte, but the problem I’m having is that I get a lot of chatter in the soft hair edges of the matte and I can not use blur or edgeblur, since I want to keep the hairs.

I have tried different keyers to get thin coremats for hairs, but without success. Then I used soft matte refine tool in After Effects on the matte rendered out of the Nuke and its chatter reduction feature did a really good job on removing that chatter. Since it adds considerably more render time to the workflow I would like to stay in nuke while reducing that chatter in soft hair edges.

Do you have any idea how it can be achieved in Nuke? Thank you in advance for your time and replies.

    Cheers, David
