I need to export DPX sequences out of our Flame.

But when I read them back on Flame or Smoke I see that it only exported the Record TC.

And what I really need is to export the Source TC so when I import it back I can assemble the EDL from those DPX files.

Any ideas? I tried to find something in the system perferences but I couldn’t find anything that would change the export of DPX files from Record TC to Source TC.

    Hi,

You have edited the DPXs into another sequence and exported. Therefore the logic dictates that they will be give the timecode from the record sequence.

To reassemble the edit in Flame after export the DPXs, you export the accompanying EDL. When you reimport the EDL, there should be an option to use record time codes as source time codes. When this option is enabled, you should be able to assemble the EDL based on the timecode of the exported DPX files.

    Hope this helps.
