Hello everyone,
We’re still hunting for help. This project is a bear, but awesome! All we’re asking for is help for 2 shots, one shot a week. Just a 2 week commitment. That’s it. Anything after that would be nice, but is on you. No long term commitment expected.
I do want to make a very important point right up front; the footage of this film will be very challenging. No, let me put it more blunt: this footage is a pain in the ass. There are no illusions that this is some cookie cutter, easy as pie project. I wish it was, but sadly, the advice we received on lighting our green screen sets was terrible, and we had no help on set to catch the problems.
However, what good is your talent if you don’t challenge it? It is important for everyone to understand that this is not impossible. We have people completing amazing shots all the time. There are tricks and techniques you will learn to handle this footage, and in the long run, you will be a more dynamic and amazing Compositor because of it. You will be able to bring skill sets to any future employment that very few people have, and you’ll have the ability to do things they simply cannot. This makes you more valuable in the marketplace, and if you can make our footage look good (and you’re more than welcome to Demo Reel any of your work with us), then any employer would be a fool not to want you on their team.
With this said, I hope to find people willing to accept the challenge, help a fan film succeed, and hopefully make some good friends along the way. I can be contacted directly at [email protected]. Thank you.
