I’ve just started using nuke and I’ve got a fairly newbie question.

I’ve loaded an image sequence (exr + iff) and my viewer is displaying a whole series of random coloured pixels. This happens with any file loaded and I can’t seem to figure out what’s going on. I assume it’s something to do with either the video card or the way nuke is reading/displaying footage and sequences.

    Cheers

It sounds like you’re running the PLE version. Random colour pixels will be displayed in the Viewer and some of them will change as you progress through the image sequence.

Alternatively, if you are not in the PLE version, what OS are you running and what version of Nuke?

..can you see the image the viewer is hooked up at all.. or is it only a series of random coloured pixels and nothing else?

Ah I am running the PLE version. Thanks, I knew it would be something so obvious
