stereoscopic support please

Hi,

We really need the finishing tools to support stereoscopic. Really don’t want to have to get a quantel box just to keep clients happy with supporting their stereoscopic projects,

Lustre will have support soon, but man we need to conform and preview this stuff first!

Autodesk is scheduled to reveal their plans for Stereoscopic next week at Siggraph.

Hopefully AutoDesk will consider stereoscopic support for smoke / flame.

so from the reports on this site…all the stereoscopic stuff relates only to maya, toxik and lustre…no mention of systems products…is that it for the autodesk announcements or will the systems stuff be discussed later?

Well, Autodesk will not discuss any future technology so what they showed was what they can ship. I would assume that we did not see stereo in Flame/Smoke because there is no upcoming release ready to ship as 2009 is so recent.
