Hi,
I do a little scene in stereoscopic view in Nuke for a 3D aspect with special glasses.
I created 2 cameras and 2 scanlinerenders, then i put a JoinViews and an Anaglyph node. How can I render it in a .mov file ?
When i put a write node and render it, ther is an error message :“Write cannot be executed for multiple views”.
Is it impossible to do a render in stereoscopic views ?
Thanks…

They are no longer independent, both the right and left have the same image data. Now if you want to write out more than one view you will have to use the .exr format.

If you select right or left, it will render both sides in anaglyph mode. (Yes… very confusing)
Or you can split the views (with “split view” node) and render it separated… so you can apply any stereoscopic technic you want.

Thanks for your answers.
I try the method of FabianoBerlim, which consists in choose one view in my write node.
And all is ok, it’s working, I can create my mov.
I understand that we CAN’T render two views in a mov files, it seems to be logical.
But we can in exr.But there is some stuff that I don’t understand.
If I put a One View node after my anaglyph node and before my write node, I still need to choose beetween left and right node.
And I can’t understand the utility of a split view node.
I just have a Split and Join node, but maybe we don’t speak about the same node ?
I put it after my anaglyph, it split my two views left and right, and join it again. Like I do with the output of my scanline render left and right…Damn ! It’s really fascinating to work with stereoscopic projects !!
Thanks again…:)
