I need to recovery my StoneWire metadata, i still got all the frames, but the setups, desktops, libs and so on have disappear. I have look in the docs and it’s not to obvious to me. Tried doing a sw_recoverfs, but it had no effect. Can somebody please help me out.
Cheers.Clip libraries and such live in /usr/discreet/clip/stonefs/, so that’s the place to look. There are also backups of previous versions, unless you have restarted the app too many times, which will have overwritten all the valid backups. Manipulating clip libraries manually is tricky, I would strongly suggest giving support a phone call to get help.
I decide to cut my lose and forget about the recovery, i do get plenty of clips but its a complete mess. But now my problem is that i can’t get rid of the unassigned clips. i got 240.000 plus frames in my fs but it only say 77.000 frames free but it say 99% free library …how can i clear the stone completly without having to set everything up again??
You can run flame with the -v command line option: that will reinitialize the volume and delete everything on it. Just make sure this is really what you want to do before going ahead.
