I never used expressions but I would like to …Is there something I should study to became more confortable with them?…I’m, really, willing to spend some time to learn it!

It’s tricky, the stuff you need to know is maths and simple programming but if you just go and try to learn about those you’ll just not find it fun, because you’ll end up with a whole pile of stuff you don’t need at all. I think the best way is probably just to look around the net for examples and little tricks, and try them out and change them and invent your own… it’s a tricky thing to teach/learn. Although it seems John did a good job with his Flame Expressions course over at fxphd 🙂

There are a couple things in the links section here… http://www.motionscript.com/expressions-lab/table-of-contents.html and http://www.aenhancers.com/ and this: http://www.fxguide.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=4. Probably stuff on the Creative Cow forums somewhere…

One more site that gave me a good introduction to expressions in After Effects. It’s a few years old, and I’m not as active in AE anymore so I don’t know what has changed.
