Is there any way to adjust the length of tangents in the animationchannel (like the tangents of GMasks)?

January 31, 2003 at 9:31 am #206800sinancgParticipantthe tangents in the gmask adjusts the strength of the curve at that point. the tangents in the animation channel cannot affect this. the curves in the animation channel are mathematical functions, that is they cannot have more than one value for any given time.
the ability to resize the tangents would be for the sole purpose of gui readability.

Not true. You can do this in almost any other application such as Combustion(!), Maya, etc. It gives you more influence on exactly how the inter-/extrapolation between the keyframes should be.
For exampe if I want to have a real slow outgoing value, in the named apps I can just drag the tangent flat and more to the right. In FFI I have to set several more keyframes, and fiddle around a lot.-k
