I am operating smoke 6.04 on tezro and have been working fine in standard def with sony digibeta.
I have now hooked up a sony HDW-M2000 hi-def deck(fully upgraded by sony).
Also the VBOB was installed by discreet. The problem is when I’m in Smoke INPUT CLIP and HDSDI OUT on the vtr into smoke, the SGI monitor goes black and displays “resolution must be 1920×1200. My partition is setup to the discreet default of 1920×1080.
The vtr has a correct reference and a good video signal in and out.
Does anyone know how to get the monitor to work when importing HD video?
Also, when outputing HD from Smoke to the sony vtr the VIDEO IN is garbage, but the output from Smoke to a HD monitor is ok. Is this sony deck not setup correctly? We are using HDSDI in and out.
    Any help out there?

Althought your project is HD 1920/1080, you have to select in the project library, if it is 24fps, 25 fps, 30 fps or 60, 50… It is a blue box.
