Does anybody knows if Autodesk (Discreet – folks) are planning to bring Toxik on intel mac ? Please don’t tell me to install bootcamp or parallel desktop with a copy of XP or Linux. I am talking about the real Stuff, running Toxic in OS X natively.

given the fact that autodesk is not known as a mac friendly company, i doubt it.
no plans fopr osx that have ever been announced.
instead of bootcamp, how about building a linux or XP system apart from your mac

That would just be too cool for Autodesk; Toxik on OS anything, sadly.
Well, they are selling it like there will be more connection with it and maya in the future. They should start, at least, offering it on the same platforms. Ok Autodesk, if your listening your customers, bring Toxik on OSX . And make a Learning edition available for artist to download so we can try it alonside Shake. Make it easy to learn, accessible.

Hi! Toxik2009 for OSX will be release soon since Autodesk will be at Macworld 09 with it.

just saw the latest latest toxik ver today…its PHAT!!..fast, stereo workflow is pretty good.. mac os version should be out very soon..hope they wait fer the core i7 on the mac pro though [ jan/feb 2009]
