Hi,
I am supposed to suggest my boss about the compositing platform
and unable to decide which tool i should go for like Toxik Or Digital Fusion.
Can any one help what r the differences.People are saying that Toxik has better future because of the fact that it has Oracle Database support.
I’ve been hearing that Fusion 5 is very buggy. At the same time, Toxik coming very aggressive with 6 releases in a year and seem like a better choice for bigger pipelines.Plesae shed some light on this
Thanks,

My vote goes to Fusion.
Fusion is much more mature and supports a zillion plug-ins through AE plug-in compatibility.
Toxik might become a real alternative to Fusion or Shake in a few versions, but it is still lacking a lot of basic tools.

Fusion 5.02 seems very fast, and the workflow is great, and the support for AE plugins is very well implemented (Sapphire plugins run great!). I have found Fusion 5.0 to be extremely buggy, but the 5.02 release seems much more stable. If they get these kinks worked out, and I’m sure they will, I think it will be an unbeatable combination of tools for the money.
