(new user here) I successfully tracked one race car speeding down a raceway however I’m not exactly sure how to apply this new tracker path info to a matte I’ve create for the car. I want the car’s matte to follow the car’s tracker info. ie. to color correct the car, etc. without having to do any KEYING.

Two things have confused and concerned me:

    1. the matte’s center and possible offset are different when I attach the tracker info.
    2. is there a way to get the matte to follow the tracker info. without writing an expression to change any offset?

Its simple yet I’m still having problems…..I have one matte that needs to follow one tracker, exactly/ Can any guru’s help? Thank you!

Yes, fusion tracker can sometimes confuse with all that extra info available.

The thing you are searching for is this:
On your matte transform centre (or mask centre) right click and connect to Tracker 1 (or what ever its name is) Offset position. Then in the tracker node Tracker tab right on the bottom of the window there is X offset and Y offset.
You use those two to position your mask centre offset 😛
