Thoughts…my first thought is, that based on your other posts, you seem to be mac fanatic enjoying blaming discreet and other platforms any time you get a chance (no offense tho).
my second thought is, that of course dicreet is not no.1, as their systems are much higher end than desktops, and so there are much lower sales in terms of pieces sold, but that doesn’t mean they’re unsuccesful – i’m doing my work in combustion, and even though i have money for apple solution (shake on dual g5 would be nice to have), but i rather stay with discreet and wait for the point when i’ll be able to buy flame – certain clients want to work this specific dicreet way, and they’re willing to pay for it, and to be honest i guess studios offering FFI have bigger profit than those who offer just desktop solution.
