Hi all, im new in this forum, I would know if there are any comp/vfx software for NT or Linux with true 3d deformations for video layers.

As far as I know true 3D in compositing can only be found in Inferno 5, however Softimage XSI has a composite module integrated into the programme and it works in Windows and Linux. Since Softimage is true 3D I think it would be the right choice (if you have the $16K). I have also seen Lightwave doing some compositing although is very basic.
