I’ve heard the rumour that Shake can run on OCtane 2, so I would like to know is that true and if it is what version of Shake works that way.

Shake has been around on Irix since the beginning. It is still current as of 3.5. If you have a shake linux license you can float it over to the irix box to run the software.

Thanx for info, but now I have another question 😳

I’m Apple user, working on Shake and my next question is is it better to run shake on G5 DP2.5 with 2Gb RAM, or on Octan 2 on DP400Mhz, 2Gb RAM and V12 graf.
