JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Los Angeles based production company is seeking a very experienced freelance After Effects Compositor/Designer to work on upcoming commercial projects. Artist should be able to manage the pressure of a deadline-driven environment and complete projects with professional quality and execution every time. Projects will consist mainly of compositing digital and live action elements to create industry-quality visual effects shots. Artist should communicate well with directors, producers, and other teammates, providing their own artistic intuition with the constructive critiques of directors in order to bring out the appropriate vision for each project.

REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have the following:
– Very strong After Effects skills
– Experience in 2D and 3D compositing
– Strong understanding of technical workings of video
– Ability to work unsupervised, as well as under the supervision of the directors and other members of the production department
– Excellent communication and organization skills
– Attention to detail and a trustworthy and reliable nature
– Ability to multi-task
– Live locally to Los Angeles Area
– Minimum of 3 years compositing experience

DESIRED SKILLS AND PLUSES:
Experience in commercial production is preferred. This position is a contract position for a term of 4-6 weeks, with the possibility of future full-time employment. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
