As RED One owners, we know that familiarity with the camera’s menu structure and the feature set of the latest firmware is critical in having full control over the images we produce. We also know that many people, particularly non-owners, don’t have the luxury of being able to spend hours with the camera, getting to know the ins and outs of all 200 menus and settings, especially while working in the field.
We’ve developed what we sincerely hope will be a valuable tool for RED users. Vis-a-Vis: RED, an iPhone-based menu reference guide for the RED One.
The application is a fully searchable database that allows users to quickly identify and locate all parameters and settings on the camera. Users can view menus and setting in the same hierarchy as on the camera, alphabetically, or by searching with keywords.
Vis-a-Vis: RED has recently been added to the iTunes Store and we hope it proves to be extraordinarily useful for RED owners, operators, ACs, DPs, and Audio Mixers. We sincerely look forward to hearing your feedback.
