    Hi there

I am working on a Flint 8.5 on Octane2 and have been having Volume Integrity Check not running message coming up at the end of start up. It informs me that it hasn’t run for several days.

Does anyone know why this has suddenly happened and how to I set it run again in start up?

I have checked the disks on sw_config and all seem to be on and fine.

    Many thanks

    Darian

In the same shell that you lanuch Flint from… type…..

    setenv DL_FORCE_IC

then launch Flint, that should force an Integrity check.

you can also force it in the console prior to loading.

    Code:
    vic -v stonefs

    will verify the stonefs &

    Code:
    vic -f stonefs

will force any ‘rogue’ frames into a lost and found library

    Thanks. This all helped.
I found a corrupt frame in a Lost and Found of a project. I made a copy of the project and deleted the old one. Everything seems to be fine now.
    Thanks again.
