Hi there,
I have posted this in both the C* and Shake forum.
I’m due to start work of various effects shots shortly and would greatly appreciate any thoughts on software routes.
Firstly, the project that I’m working on requires bringing composites of 3d models and live action to life in a believable situation. Its for a Car manufacturer and internal presentation thats for PAL only.
I bought C* some time ago but as yet have not really used it mainly as I’m using G4/G5 and I’m disappointed by how unstable it is (kept going back to AE). Having forked out for C* my thoughts are to possibly build a PC system for it but…thats a cost and…
…my overall aim is to work more with visual effects (2d), so I see this project being a good introduction to the VFX realms, so with this in mind and the fact that I have Apple kit and the success of Shake, should I seriously be looking to use Shake?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
