    Hi everyone,

Just wondering if any Recruitment expert or VFX Supervisor could bring some clues to know what kind of shots or what kind of skills would you expect when you watch an Artist’s Reel who is applying for a MID COMPOSITOR role.

If anyone can bring some light would be really appreciated.

    Thanks
    Roger

I’m not a recruiter or Supervisor, but I would suggest looking at mid-level jobs that are available, and see what kind of skills they are looking for in the job description. Then try to incorporate as many of these skills as possible in your reel.

These would typically be, from my experience, round excellent compositing skills. Tracking (2D and 3D), multi-pass compositing, 2.5D Compositing, projection, grading, cg integration as well as the more junior type of stuff such as keying, prep and roto.
