Write on effect with combustion?

    Hello, I have a logo that needs to be written on the screen overtime. is this possible in Combustion? I dont refer to the write on feature found in the text operator….

    You can use animated masks or even a particle operator as a matte (stencil) for your subject.

    see my answer to a post called stroke along a path
    this is what you would use.
    easier and quaicker than setting tp particles.
    but……it doesnt really work nice with right angles.
    ill try and gat a .cws sorted out

    im rebuilding my mac and theres a filthy big scratch on my install cd it could take some time.
    ill try and email you an example when i get the chance.

    Loath as I am to open my sorry little bag of tricks, here is an easy way of doing write-ons. Paint a keyable color frame by frame over the matte of the text to be revealed, then use the chromakey matte as a reveal matte. If I knew how to post a cws file I could show you a demo.
