    Hello everyone,

I’m trying to create a clean plate , which is bigger than the original format. The full plate is bigger than the original format because the camera is moving. I have already put together a plate, which covers all the movements of the camera. But I can’t seem to write it out of nuke. I use a REFORMAT node with scale option and I reduce the scale till I see all the edge of the plate. But if I try to write it out of NUKE into an EXR of Tiff I get an image the size of the original format and a black frame around it, instead of the full size plate. What is the solution for this?

Thank you in advance for any help.

    Hey Matteo,

Thanks again for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate it and I’d like to get to the bottom of this for the future.

I have tried doing exactly that at first. Write it out to EXR without the reformat. But the thing is there is no difference if there is a reformat node or note before the write. Here is what I get. 2 images, one from nuke when I export and EXR and one in photoshop when I load the exported EXR. Changing the global settings to the right format didn’t solve the problem.

Solved it. Was making a stupid mistake by exporting the 1st frame instead of the last one. Frameblend builds up the the full Alfa channel only by the last frame. On the first one it was cutting everything off.
