I know I have asked this question in the past…sorry. but not sure if I got the answer I was looking for… plus i am not getting this technique to work.

I received an XYZ CG normals pass (separate R,G,B channels) and want to tweek my comp with this pass.(relight) I now understand that I need to pipe a booleen and reassign settings to the Aux Channels area and then use a Deep Pixel> Shader node to relight the comp. BUT I’m am just not getting this to WORK!!!! I have the GENERAL concept but then I’m stuck! No luck.

In the Booleen> Aux section,, I think I’ve got something wrong, maybe a wrong setting(s)**** can someone help with extra suggestions/technique… please?!

Any specifics would be helpful. Thanks!

no bro… your normals pass goes into the deep pixel shaders.

    lighting is super easy. 🙂

    have you tried this yet?
