    hi,
about what topics i’d want or weather there is enough demand for more nuke dvd’s: Actually i did the whole shark comp in combustion and shake in fact if i have time i’ll probably bang it off in the flame as well…WHAT MATTERED was that i got a new perspective which has helped my skills so much more 8) .
we were evaluating nuke so i guess the dvd helped there as well.
So as far as i’m concened you could have demoed the shark comp in photoshop and it’d be okay as long as i LEARNT LOADS OF STUFF…which i did.
It only goes to show how scarsce real info is passed on most dvd’s and we need more stuff like yours.
I have to think a little about what specific topics i’d like to see and i’ll post it here but more walk throug’s of comps and production exhamples would be swell.

    hi,
thank you for doing these dvd’s.
For the first Shark tute alone i consider the price of the dvd(2) worth it.
any chance you’ll be doing more ???.

The tracker of Combustion sucks? I thought that it was equal to the existing one in the FFI

I’ts not even close. The code written for FFI and combustion can’t be the same. Stuff that would have been easily tracked in FFI can be impossible to track in combustion. (sorry for the off topic)

i’m with keyser…the tracker in flame simply seams to STICK. 8)
the marketing people keep showing that bull in your face about the code being same…bollox.

as most others have said you would want to embedd the UV channel info from 3dmax into your RPF.

    hi,
ZICA(zee) offers training on smoke and flint.

    look here too…

    http://www.maacindia.com/

if you have comped for about 2-3 years then i’d reckon you’d be upto learning and spending that kind of money learning flame.

and unless youre going to be a smoke op, be prepared to do lots of wire work…from helll 😈

    hi,
do you mean like a precomp ???

any way there is a bypass option to the right of the screen in batch so say bypass matte.

this will output the matte only from both ur keyers.

hope this helps…i was frustrated as hell to until all the users chimed in to help 😉 .
