    There are no particles in D2/Nuke. And no talks about this feature.(as far as i know) I think particles in compo apps looks good on feature lists but at the end of the day, 3d department do all the job. 🙂

    ColorMatch = Colortransfer.

    Autocolor will color your nodes acording to type.

    1. Yes its possible, you have to copy your matte image to new channel of image you want to color correct (Using Channel copy). Than use this channel as matte for cc. In Nuke you are not limited to 4 RGBA channels per image.

    2. No timeline yet for time manipulation you have to use manip nodes for this.

    3. Strange your sequences should be loaded. I suggest you to use name.####.ext format for your files, but Nuke is capable to load any naming format.

    Best way how to do it is well described in Quick start documentation that comes with Nuke. Well, there are pictures too. 😉

    We are a very discreet oriented house and we have numerous infernos / flames / plus lustre. For a lot of film work, Nuke turn out to be Quick and cost effective solution to us. I speek about price of hardware, speed of stuff training, price of storage.

    But this is true in case of Shake too. We choose Nuke. Because we are not sure how long Apple will support Shake for Linux and switch to Apple is not on our Plot.

    NUKE is very quick, versatile, fully customizable and evolving app. It have posibility to work in 3D space. It is running on LINUX and WINDOWS. We relly on it.

    Shake have probably more sexy looking interface, CFC KEYLIGHT 🙁 , and integration with Quicktime (Which is sometimes good for playback). Its running on Linux and Mac.

    When choosing GEO > VectorField or VF Generator, Nuke is calling inventor.dll which is not present in our system. Is it bug or can we get it somewhere? We are operating under WIN2000.
