Hey, Fire is dead so Fire now is Smoke… look: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=5562571&siteID=123112
sarwanov XamginParticipantSorry, I thought about the Flame way… In Smoke the only way I see is using displacement with a Gmask loaded in the keyer from Action.
sarwanov XamginParticipantJust double click/drag the Import node in Action and select your Gmask. Select the resulting Geometry node and adjust the Depth. Hope it helps.
sarwanov XamginParticipantwow, I find it’s a pity that a program as veteran as flame doesnt have a well implemented support for vector graphics being able to import .ai or .eps. should be a common task in such a program. I think that the limitation about non-complex shapes for Gmasks is very restrictive. How do you explain to a client that a Flame box, wich is considered to be the best of the best can’t do something basic that After Effects can do, and all the 3D softwares. It seems like a joke. Hope someone is listening 😉
sarwanov XamginParticipantIt works like a charm 🙂 Many thanks for your response.
sarwanov XamginParticipantI’l try to explain me better.
I’m looking for a way to use the Flame’s tracker to follow a given point from a video and assign the resulting tracked motion to a spark’s position parameter.
Hope I’ve been more clear 🙂sarwanov XamginParticipant
sarwanov XamginParticipantThanks for your response 🙂 Sorry but maybe I’ve not explained me very well. For track I mean “tracking/stabilizer”. It’s related to your response but I’m looking for a way to do it .
I’ve figured out a way to apply a “tracking” tot he spark doing an Action node, track/stabilize an axis and copy/paste the Action axis offset channels to the spark. By the way, I need to offset that with expressions…. not very handy. So, do you know a better way to do it??
Thanks. -
