Do you mean lagos, Algarve in Portugal?
If so i don’t think there are. Post houses are all in lisbon.Best
Ricardo VianaI really hope he is not talking about the capital of Nigeria. Or maybe we are seeing the first 419 scam on FXguide.
cyril confortiParticipantits realy WTC that supports R3D. WTC can send that into any Wiretap device. Flare/Flame/Smoke.
cyril confortiParticipantYes it will, as long as the laptop has a QuadroFX card.
cyril confortiParticipantThe built in Quicktime export codecs aren’t very good. You should use an external encoder like Wiretap Central or shrink (http://www.shrink.it) with h.264.
cyril confortiParticipanthow much material do you have in a Library. from your snapshot your max size is bumping up to 240 meg, thats huge dude.
cyril confortiParticipantWell, it got the ModularKeyer and that is huge. Pretty sure Flint also get R3D support via WiretapCentral.
cyril confortiParticipantif all you are trying to do is stabilize the shot, try the techinque for automatic 3d stabilization @ http://www.instinctual.tv
cyril confortiParticipantthose folders aren’t useless, they contain all the setups for the nodes that is reference by the batch file. you get rid of the folder and your setups will be useless.
cyril confortiParticipantThe install guides that Autodesk provides are quite good at walking you thru step by step to install from scratch. You could get a new flame up and running in less that 2 hours. But if all you are saying is you want to remove the login icons of older versions from the login screen, well, reinstalling would be a bit of overkill for that. Also, your english is horrible.
cyril confortiParticipantwhy not just export an EDL of your timeline/clip. That option is available via the Library.

Hi,
Is there a spark out there that will detect shot changes in a timeline and add edits? Helpful when trying to hand off an EDL to the color correction folks.
Thanks!

Building own Octane 2 Irix box! #216281cyril confortiParticipantthere is no way a Tezro is faster than a good Linux Flame. sorry bud. I just had to revisit a project I did on Linux, but this time using a Tezro flame, and it is way slower and way buggier. But its true, you can pick up a flame capable Oct. off ebay for nothing now adays. Of course, if you are spending $150K on software, why are you going to handicap it with crap hardware? Unless, your not paying for that software??? hmm….
cyril confortiParticipantyou can use Tether to transfer image sequences, .mov or any Quicktime readable file of **any** codec, PNG included.
just drag the folder containing the image sequence into tether.
cyril confortiParticipantWell, if you were at the NAB User Group, you would have learned that Autodesk Professional Services Division would be able to hook you up with exactly what you need. 🙂 They told us that about 5 times.
cyril confortiParticipantPay my rate, you can call me monkeyboy. Its not what other people title you, but how you see yourself.
cyril confortiParticipantTrue tether only works on Mac, but you can install the OSX Avid codec and still get all the tether benifits even though your Avids are PC. Additionally, if you footage is available on a network somewhere, you can access your mac/tether via VNC on the pc and do all the transferring you need.
