As far as the DVD name space not being big enough… it’s been discussed as a problem. Hopefully something will be addressed.
As as far missing layers not having names. Yea, that’s a bummer.
But you can adjust animations while in any view with multiview. But I think it came around in 6.5. Try hitting ALT-2 while in DVE. It will bring up a split view and you can select what you want in either side. ALt-3 gives you 3 and ALt 4 gives 4. ALt-1 returns to normal single view.

Here is a link to the 6.5 release notes. It says that other than traker data the setups should be good form v3 to v6.5. And there is a workaround for the tracker data that involves just renaming the extension.

Our Smoke Tezro reboots as I would expect it to. About the same as our OCT2 dual 600s.
So it sounds like you have a problem if it’s 30 mins… I feel i to be like 5-7mins

Any insights on a Smoke Editors weight in gold?
And those numbers seem very high above for a broadcast environment.
