NO, SET TRANSPARENCY MEANS TO ENABLE THE BUTTON IN THE FIRST MENU, NEW, WHEN YOU ARE SETTING THE PREFERENCES FOR YOUR PROJECT: CHOOSE NEW, PARTICLE, RESOLUTION, DURATION AND, AT LAST, TRANSPARENCY ENABLED.

I have tried, and the best way is to select new, particles, set the resolution and duration, choose transparency (very important), design the particle and render the result with color+alpha enabled. You have the particle and the alpha or matte ready.
Sometimes, is a good idea disabled the option “intense” in partcle menu. The particle looks very soft and undefinied with this option enabled because in fact you are aplying a transfer mode (add) to the particle.

Use screen transfer mode doesn,t work because i need to use the result in Flame. i need alpha information when render in Combustion to get later a front clip and a matte clip in Flame. If the result hasn,t alpha information, i can,t use it.
