definately tablet. also, there could be a quick and simple way to set up macros that could operate on a bin or directory(see photoshop’s action record). Good tools are CC, track/stablize, DVE, paint, particles, filters, masking, keying, 3d tools. If you had all of these things running on some decent hardware you might have something on you hands.
milkymontyParticipantSony SAIT is great! We use it with Smoke 6.0.2 all the time. You get about 450 Gb of storage per tape and it’s just as fast as other data archiving. The only negative is you can only write one archive per $200 tape. It’s very stable except one issue we had when first using it. Discreet’s settings for block size at the time were not configured for Sony SAIT. Smoke wanted to write one size and the drive wanted to write another. Everything has been fine since our engineer discovered this, it didn’t help that Discreet lacked having any experience with Sony SAIT. Beware of this issue unless Discreet has made a config to fix the problem.
milkymontyParticipantIt is what it is if it’s gone. Have you tried isolating the blue and green channels (colour warper selectives), generating two mattes from that and adding those together. Then use the inverse of that matte to selectively add red into the picture? Never tried this before.
milkymontyParticipantYou need to ellaborate a little more in terms of “damaged”. Is it noisy, clipped, not there at all? Have you tried going for an overall unsaturated look to compensate for the lack of red?
