Come on, discreet, get it together. Either commit to fully supporting the Mac fully, or drop it altogether.

v2 did help with some of the problems (no archiving!) but basic workflow
issues like the “map view” which was an ineffectual schematic didn’t help…had some nice plug-ins though! javascript:emoticon(‘’)
I´m still useing cyborg v2 and it´s great. much easier and faster than a flame or anything else availible from diecreet at this time. though i´m looking forward to cyborgs little brother scratch!
Assimilate/Scratch will rule, no doubt. But I hope toxik will rule to. We will see when it gets its compositing part.
Sprawl, are you working in Berlin?!

Speaking with 10 years film/tv compositing experience, I can’t see why this wont completely slaughter all the opposition… just beautiful.I heared the same thing on IBC 2004. And what i heared rules!!!

Iwould also say, that Combustion is crap on a mac – but at my office these kind of apps are all on Mac, so I got to live with it. Has anybody a workaround to get mac-combustion render on a renderfarm like you can do it with a PC-version? Because I heard, that discreet will not bring out a backburner for mac.

nanukParticipantI don´t think so. But I got nightshift. Perhaps I can play around a little bit.
Are there many postproductions in Toronto?
nanukParticipantTurn every Interpolation Curve to everything but bezier. FFI does not understand bezier and problems can occur.
Where are you in Canada?
nanukParticipantO.K. i use Inferno 5.5 and Combustion 3.01. I don´t know, perhaps there is a missunderstanding between the version? Sorry.
Cheers NanuknanukParticipantI nerver had serious problems with exchanging gmask-data between the systems. And I often had more then one mask in a setup. Which Versions do you use?
Cheers Nanuk
nanukParticipantI don´t think so. As I said: it works, but not always at the first time.
nanukParticipantI´m using it.
nanukParticipanthopefully – cyborg was/is amazing!
nanukParticipantI have done a lot of rotoscoping in Combustion and afterwards transfered the Gmask-data to Inferno. The only Problem I had: keyframes were not always transmitted. But then i exported it another time and everything was good. Which versions do you use?

Not that long. Just keep on going. 😀
nanukParticipantI´ve heard that the 5D guys are involved in that thing. But that is not for sure.
