    In boujou:
Select the camera you want to export to Flame
    Click the Export Camera button
Browse to select where you would like to save it and select the export type, you’re going to want to export as an Action node, with the version that corresponds to your FFI (there are 3 options)
Don’t forget to scale your setup by at least 100- or else the axis nodes that represent your preditions, trackers and locaters in Boujou will be gigantic
    Save

Then in Flame, drag a new action node into batch, click setup: Node: and then click the Load button (remember, Import is for 3d geometry, you’re literally loading a saved action node) and select the file Boujou Exported

    Thats it!

    Hope this works for you,

    My impressions so far:
    •Many things sped up greatly
•Many buttoms moved for no apparent reason
•Many of the new features are poorly documented
•The new action layer list is inefficient- and ugly.
•The default-preincluded sparks have been upgraded to a new level of uselessness with fun sparks like “invert”

Flame 2007 is fast, I’ll give her that. Particles are a breeze.

Hehe yeah sorry, http://www.contourdesign.com/shuttlepro/shuttlexpress.htm. Dunno about Linux but it works fine on OSX.

oh! I misunderstood. I thought you literally had some sort of tiny USB scroll wheel- like one you’d find on the middle mouse button.

I love the shuttlepros, I use one at home for FCP.

Personally not that fussed about the wide tablets because using a square one gives you space at the top to put the keyboard. Do those little buttons and the ribbon at the side on the Intuos4 do anything in Flame?

I don’t know about the flame, but on an I3 with combustion, those buttons streamlined roto a ton for me. I even set the touch strip to act as a scroll wheel, and used it to zoom in without moving the stylus, set one of the larger buttons to act as the spacebar, so I could also pan just as easily (not that the spacebar was exceedingly difficult to reach.. 😉

It’s not like you’re going to replace your keyboard anytime soon, but for me the touch strip made it all worthwhile.
