The new systems use an Eizo CE-240W-DI, the DI is very important. Check out the specs on Eizo’s webpage. Can’t think of a reason why this wouldn’t work.

since you got it all tracked and set-up already, why don’t paint blood and seamless skin on a single frame and track in on with the nails?
Soft edged masks will help to make it to blend in, probably have to adjust each painted layer with an Ext. Bicubic. The Ext. Bicubic resizer from the tips section will help with that.
Also, depending on the shot, you might want to add light/shadows/reflections back on top manually. And don’t forget to add some grain to finish it.Piotr KolusParticipantrhythmbox shouldn’t be a problem, go ahead and install from this site:
http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/rhythmbox/maybe get apt/synaptic from there as well, should make the whole process easier.
In general, as long as kernel drivers (modules) and essential components like KDE aren’t touched, it should be safe to install some user apps. Don’t think the kernel itself is that different from the standard one.
What I like most about linux flames is importing/exporting from usb sticks 😉
Piotr KolusParticipantThanks a lot Sinan!
Piotr KolusParticipantHi everyone!
Wanted to have a look at that setup, but the link seems to be down.
Anyone still got a copy the setup laying around?
cheers
