Well u should be using four points to track the corners of the colored frame. to get four points in the tracker, in Layer>activate Four-corner. and then go to tracker and track the four corners,
I would advice u to track the four corners manually first and see if it looks fine.November 9, 2004 at 12:00 pm in reply to: Importing Gmask from Combustion 3 in Inferno trouble #208572regoParticipantI think there is some problem when it is tried the first time, because i read this post and tried to check it, but the first time it was about 25% smaller and rotated, I exported it again and faced the same problem, the third time it was fine. 🙄
October 25, 2004 at 7:02 am in reply to: how to achieve film look style on beta digital material #208870regoParticipantHere is one way to do it
1. Field merge the clip
2. Do color correction
3.Make a copy of the Clip after color correction and use some gaussian blur and overlay it on top of the other with transperency 30%
try different transfer modes like screen or soft light to get the best effect for that clip. Also play with transperency values, gaussian blur values and color correction.
Finally if u need add some grain.
That should do it, let me know.September 6, 2004 at 12:52 pm in reply to: Clouds r moving in the sky!!!! Effect!!! HOW TO ? #208628regoParticipantYou can get a more realistic effect by masking small sections of the clouds with a considerable amount of feather, then place these with x rotation in many layers and animate them in z axis, use a sky blue paint layer with gradient in the BG for the areas in betweeen the clouds.

the Z-buffer off worked. 😀 -
