I just tried it with 1.9 and it works (I typed -2 to see)
If you have a pre 1.8, 1.9 is a free upgrade

2 small tricks that might or not help:

    1) If you set RSMB (ReelSmart Motion Blur) to a value under 0 it does remove motion blur (to some extent, it won’t deal with camera streaks…).

    2) You can also paste the stabilization values directly in RSMB Tracking Points (which you will find on the other control pages) and leave Track Image off as to generate motion blur compensation.

    Cheers for the sparks links.

    FYI

Twixtor 4.5 is in beta and should be out right after the NAB circus. People that buy now fall in the grace period and will get update for free…

Just a note, between our versions of RE:Flex for Shake, AE, Combustion and discreet system, if you do tracking as well, it can be simpler in Combustion as you can select mask vertices you are interested in and say track right-in the tool. Moving objects can be handled (particularly useful for things that appear in the shot (say the head rotates)) by animating on and off the effect of a spline. When “morphing”, smaller motion can be auto-handled by turning on the auto-registration button (a form of embedded Twixtor without control). It will then deal correctly with small variations.

Another question is where do the PSD files come from. I import fine some from Lightwave in Combustion but not in AE…

You can also try Twixtor sparks and in the case where motion estimation is not sufficient (I am not sure how hard are your “stiches”) you can use RE:Flex sparks, the Morphing module and make that perfect…

The Manual (to read first) and Tutorials is in the Help Folder of Combustion

    Hi All,

I was told by a fellow Flame Artist that the pulldown works exactly like the film to tape 3:2. Much to my suprise, there is only one jitter frame, on every 5th frame.

    Thanks
    -Peter

Looks like you have 3:2PulldownPa (Progressive Advanced) – as of today, if you have a combustion in-house, you can use FieldsKit from our company to remove that and then reintroduce a standard pulldown…
