Do you think that the advent of desktop PCs becoming faster will have an effect on the future of the highend tools?

the gondry dvd is wicked…but even better is an old daft punk music video dvd…in the special features it has a documentary with michel gondry in a classroom explaining how he comes up with those wild concepts…let forever be is there on BUF’s webpage in their gallery.

cos im curious about the i/o bandwidth issues and of course with the way toxik works one can start off work on scenes while CC happens in lustre in another room…toxik would manage alll the media and shots can be updated easily from the colour corrected source…doesnt that make sense? so have one central manager?

i also wish one could hook up a viper directly to toxik..if they put in proper i/o in the first place 🙂

well… i saw the new version a few weeks back in singapore and was drooling and [ hate to say this] but actually forgot about flame for a SHORT while….then it slowly dawns on u that tocik barely has any of the tools in flame that are needed for serious comping!!…would be great to have one toXik client and 3 slaves in a typical tv commercial post environ

maybe discreet should also include scenarios of where toxik should be used on their webpage….a lotta people think its a replacement fer flame or combustion but its not.
