I agree with “SOFTER”.
I downloaded all the videos from The foundry´s website.
And, you can find some basics tutorials in the userguide. There are some basic lessons that you can follow. Is very basic, but is very good if it is your first contact with Nuke.I advice you the FXPHD courses. I´m doing them, and I´m very happy.
Good luck! 😉

Roger KollerParticipantHey Guys!!!
I´ve just installed the Flame 2011. I really liked the new features.
But I have a question about the hotkeys! I can´t find the old hotkey “C”, to expand/collapse clip into the desktop. Anybody knows where is it?
Thanks!
Roger KollerParticipantHey yukon_28
Thanks for your feedback! 😉
Roger KollerParticipantHey guys,
Thanks a lot for all advices.
I was talking to the colorist and he said me the color is correct. So, I don´t have to change anything. Although is possible having to change the colorspace sometimes.
😉Cheers,

Hi,
Could you guys tell me please what settings should I change to avoid banding in Action?
The setup is really simple. I load a 16bit fp white image to Action, bend it with bicubic and put a single light in. Spread is 67 and falloff is 7%. The action setup is 16 bit fp, Clamp Colours are turned off.Cheers,
pH.
Hi PixelHussar
I´m working with nuke now. But I had the same problem with this!
Try to change the softness into the setup menu. Into the setup menu there are some values that you can change and avoid this problem!I hope I´ve helped!
Cheers!
Roger KollerParticipantHey guys!
I´ve changed the music. I hope you like!
Happy new year for everyone!!!!

Roger KollerParticipantHey guys!!!
Thanks for your feedback!
I´d like more comments! 😀
Thanks

I realize that this been like this for a while, but perhaps some can explain why rendering an multi-layer setup in action (not in batch) is so much faster that rendering that exact same action setup in batch…assuming that the action node is the only element in the batch setup.
On average the relatively simple setup that takes 2:00 in action will take 7:00-8:00 with that same action loaded into batch.
I have tried this on flint and flame and on every version since 2007. 2010 ext1 is no different.
Just curious if anyone has any insight on this.
Thanks
DavidLets try to put the layers outside of action into batch. This operation usually works better with me. The time of render usually reduce.
Good luck!!!
