Hi Wolfgang,
There is a matte input to Keylight on FFI. It’s a single input and can be used either as a hold out matte to firm up the foreground or as a garbage matte to pull through the background. Best though to use it as a garbage matte and use Keylight to create a hold matte internally using the second edit group controls.
But the later version of Keylight on Shake has separate inputs for the hold-out and garbage, instead of a single input, as you mention. We’re working hard to bring all our Keylight ports up to date, but I can’t promise it in the near future.
If you want some examples on how to use the Keylight matte input, let me know and we can put together some example trees for you.

samthefound_vbParticipantWell – it looks like NAB is upon us and so I can finally answer the question correctly by saying that Furnace 2 on FFFIS is about to enter beta. The Foundry will be showing it on their stand at the show, and even better, will be taking orders, with the added incentive that if you visit The Foundry at NAB, with every purchase of Furnace on Discreet you get a free Tinder.

On the topic of the timing curve – there are a number of usability issues we’d like to look at before the next release. The 400% starting at frame 4 sounds like a bug to me. I’ll have a look. But, that aside, can’t you set the first popup to “Timing:Frame” and animate the Frame curve in the Animation window to get the effect you want? Or have I misunderstood?
