Hi we’ve got the same trouble

here’s how we deal. just be extremly carefull

    go to usr/discreet/clip/stonefs then ls
    rm.ref.log enter

go back to usr/discreet/ go to folder io/bin then ./vic -v stonefs enter
it will clean all your partitions

at last then go to usr/discreet/sw
    ./sw_purge

And your framestore will breath again.

we’ve got to flint on octane 2

    It works quite well

    Thanks

You mean Flint sd is the equivalent of old Flint on octane 2 You can work in 2k max, no real time exept with proxy, and only 8 bits.

I guess the HD version could offer real time and 10 bits resolution.

I’ ll be glad if someone could confirm that.

    Thanks for the reply

As far as I remember, just export your Lut from your flame, you can do it from Batch.
Then take the file, and drag it in the LUT folder in frame cycler DDS.

I ‘ve done it long time ago. I will verify it, but try this first.

Relaunch your apps then open an image sequence, select your lut and voila

    Cheers

    Hi
We have built a player 2K solution on a windows XP 64 bits system.
Working with 16 raid O disks. 4gb ram, Quadro fx card. and apple cinema display 30, the only screen who can display 2k resolution.
Not very stable, but we can load long images sequences and play it in real time.
It only works with cineon 10bits 2048×1556 images. You can import lut from your flame, it really works with real time. I Remember it take lot of time to configure the software. But now it’s working.

Frame cycler dds really works and people at their commercial service are really nice.

    Hope it helps

    Cheers
