Saran SirikasamsapParticipant
supposedly very very fast….the postings reg SGI vs pc[linux] speed comparisons are increasing day by day…maybe “someone” will do a proper benchmark comparison soon ? am sure discreet knows the exact speed benefits and also the areas where flame/inferno on linux fall behind SGI tezros/onyx 3xxx’s!!
Saran SirikasamsapParticipantha ha i once had a client from MTV networks INSISTING i render out the promo sequence with “icons” on as in all the axis displays…she ESPECIALLY loved the camera node!
Saran SirikasamsapParticipantcan anyone explain how cpu clustering works on the inferno*-linux while working online as opposed to background rendering ??
Saran SirikasamsapParticipanti work in PAL and always keep it everything on progressive…and only switch to fields if the need arises….yr in the UK ? im curious why u use F2 ?
Saran SirikasamsapParticipantwhats the BG of the spinning object ?
Saran SirikasamsapParticipantis the particle render type set to node?
Saran SirikasamsapParticipanti do the same.. but then do a “bad” luma key of the dark area of the image, then, use processing-color frame-noise, field merge it 100% then mix it in using the same mask, adjust transparency to yr liking…haze always has some “floaters”
Saran SirikasamsapParticipantelse buy the dvd’s from cmistudios
Saran SirikasamsapParticipantha ha …well i guess new tools come out sometimes cos of shoot related problems eh?
Saran SirikasamsapParticipanti simply make multiple fine garbage masks and blur em out [dependin on the artifact to remove f course]…render with a blend matte and then use that matte to add some grain back on…quick easy way and still looks good…thailand post houses which do the best skin/beauty commercial treatment in asia/pacific also use the same technique.
Saran SirikasamsapParticipantabsolutely true and thats good valid reason…problem is in ASIA they’re just lazy.period.[not to mention the on set producer pushing to shoot faster!]
Saran SirikasamsapParticipantinteresting…so expand the tracking area….but is that dependent on the resolution of the shot ?
Saran SirikasamsapParticipanti know tracking is almost completely dependent on the shot in question…but has anyone done a side by side comparison of boujou 3 and PF track3 ?
Saran SirikasamsapParticipantwhat i find most irritating is when lazy DOP’s use high speed film for all their blue/green screens…cos they barely have to adjust any lights!!!!
Saran SirikasamsapParticipantwould lookat work for this ?
