Try to do the truerand(min,max) , then bake the expresion curve so you can manipulate it; xscale should work for you.

Hey Chris.
You can also select the colour you want to match in the player module with the pick tool, this colour will be the next colour in to the generate frame colour module.
This is really useful for supers, but using the average with the picker tool is a really interesting way to get a palette of colours from a frame too.

. . Scratch has a powerful DI manager, I don’t know if they can put inside all the tools that have flame (for example).

f-Kronos + s-Lens distort + a bit of s-Autopaint in some areas.
It could work, play with the channels as well.
