Motion and After effects are both Motion graphic apps not Compositing application. The shake replacement will need to be a compositing software. Think node base . . .

Feel to me that nobody know what’s going on at Apple and people just gave up and start to think that nothing new will come out of their pro apps department.

But the last think we heard from them was that they where working on a new compositing app to replace Shake. They had a press release about it. Also, a guy from Apple gave an interview here at fxguide … So let’s wait and see. Unless they made another statement after . . . If they miss NAB 2008 then . . . I give up too .
