Free Scratch + RED Webinar July 14th

If you own RED, or more importantly, if you don’t own one and need to manage productions and post-production that are using them, this short Webinar by fxguide co-founder Mike Seymour is a great place to pick up a bunch of tips. Mike is known from his work here at fxguide and fxphd for being able to explain complex issues simply and clearly. As an early adopter of both the original RED camera as well as EPIC, Mike is in a perfect position to show how Scratch can not only enable a much better workflow, but avoid a lot of the real world problems productions have with fully digital workflow.

Mike will look at dealing with filming RED on set and with dailies workflow, colorspace, managing unlimited versions of shots, remote review via HTML, adding custom comments via stickies, and metadata management. From the one or two person gig to major effects houses, people are cleverly using Scratch to produce great productions with Scratch to make sure what you see on set is what is seen in post.
