The nominations are out for the BAFTAs awards at the 77th edition of the British Academy film awards.
Often seen as highly regarded and respected in their own right and a key indicator to the American Oscars, the nominations were released today. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer leads this year’s Baftas with 13 nominations, including Cillian Murphy for lead actor. Barbie received five nominations, along with Saltburn. Poor Things got 11 nominations, with Killers of the Flower Moon and The Zone of Interest both with 9.
