Actor-writer-comedians Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang announced the 97th Oscars nominations today (January 23) at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theatre. Active members of the Academy are eligible to vote for the winners in all 23 categories beginning Tuesday, February 11, through Tuesday, February 18. The 97th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
Emilia Peréz leads with 13 nominations overall, Wicked and The Brutalist follow with 10 each.
