The Finishing School at the NFTS, a Discreet Training Centre based at the UK’s National Film and TV School is running a new 6 month part-time course featuring Combustion, 3DS Max, Flame and Smoke entitled The Visual Effects Artist and Animators Program (or VFXA2 for short).
This course is designed for freelance editors, graphic designers, web designers, film and TV professionals etc who want to explore the potential of the area of Visual Effects, 3D Animation and Digital Compositing and learn the aforementioned software within this context. This flexi-time course is designed for freelancers who need to ‘opt out’ of study every so often to remain earning. The Finishing School welcomes Artists who want to build an experimental showreel as much as Designers who want to change careers.
