LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 15, 2004) – The Visual Effects Society (VES) will present VES 2004, its sixth annual Festival of Visual Effects, June 18-20 in San Rafael, California. The three-day event features presentations and panels headed by visual effects supervisors and their teams, which focus on visual effects and how they enhance the storytelling process.

“The VES Festivals are the cornerstone of storytelling for visual effects,” stated VES Founding Executive Director Tom Atkin. ” As we enter our sixth year of festivals in the United States and our fourth in Europe, VES relishes the opportunity to intimately share this process with its members and visual effects professionals.”

Almost all past VES Festivals have been completely sold out. The Rafael Film Center has a seating capacity of 330.
